History of Changes for LIGOtools Package: metaio

Version 6.0

First released version of this package, after splitting it off from the 'dataflow' package. For past changes to this software, see the history web page for the dataflow package.

Changes to the code made at the time of the split:

Incorporated all utilities based on the metaio library, plus Tcl scripts which don't use the metaio library but do related operations on LIGO_LW files (lwtselect, concatMeta), into the metaio CVS repository. The 'metaio' LIGOtools package is now simply an installation of the code in the metaio CVS repository, without anything extra.
As a consequence of tying the LIGOtools package to the CVS repository, got the latest and greatest version of the library code committed by Philip some time ago.
Fixed buggy behavior in concatMeta when dealing with tables with no rows.

Version 7.1

New version of metaio library, now built using scripts provided by Duncan Brown.

Only the SOURCE version will be distributed via ligotools_update. If desired, precompiled binary versions for various platforms and versions of Matlab can be downloaded from the DASWG metaio project page and installed using ligotools_install.
