LIGOtools Package: runtools
This package consists of a few tools to monitor the status of science/engineering runs:
- S4stats, a command-line utility
which displays the cumulative science-mode times (individually and in
coincidence) during the (now completed) S4 run.
- S5stats, a command-line utility
which displays the cumulative science-mode times (individually and in
coincidence) for the S5 run, up to the point in time when it is executed.

History of changes
Notes
- In the past, gwistat was a
Tcl/Tk program which displayed LIGO interferometer lock status, with
quick access to history plots of lock status and inspiral range.
However, it has been replaced by a web-based
display. If you try to execute the gwistat command-line
program, it will tell you to use the web-based display.

Distribution files
Normally, you should use the ligotools_update utility to
download and install new packages or new versions of existing
packages, since it automatically figures out what packages need to be
updated. However, if you wish to do so manually, then click on the
name of the appropriate distribution file (below) with the
right mouse button and choose "Save Link As..." from
the popup menu. Note that you must save it on your disk with exactly
the same name as it has on this web site. After the file has been
downloaded, do:
ligotools_install <file>
where <file> is the file which was downloaded. This
procedure will be quicker if the environment variable
LIGOTOOLS is set to the main LIGOtools directory.
